Very caring and helpful staff
Staff were polite and very helpful, the man who treated me was amazing sorry I don't remember his name, he kept me informed as to what was happening and was very happy and friendly. He spoke to me instead of through my mum which was nice.
Waited.for 6 hours to be seen by a doctor. I eventually cracked.and walked out
Overall all the different doctors and departments were very thorough and effective in diagnosing me.
Nurses are great doctors in a&e just don’t care I’ve been suffering with kidney pain for several months a number of symptoms including extreme pain had to wait around 20 hours for call back from 111 who sent me to same day health centre who sent me to hospital as she also suspected kidney stones and I had blood in my urine I then spent several hours was given a ct to then be told by doctor that there is nothing wrong with me and my urine is normal even though it has blood in it and told to go back to my gp wasn’t even given an ultrasound which even I know from experiences with other family members would have been more accurate I was also highly discusted as I over heard a conversation between a lovely caring nurse trying to do her job and a doctor they was releasing a patient and nurse asked the doctor but she has blood in her urine sample to wich the doctor replied I’m not bothered the nurse shockingly replied your not bothered doctor replied back and said yeah I’m not bothered it will be stress send her home they really don’t care about patients I feel sorry for the nurses who are genuine and trying to give best care they can working under doctors that won’t do their job properly . I am now at home in severe pain cannot eat as have no appetite also very itchy around my back and stomach feel like vomiting and passing urine very regular Carnt hold my water and constantly cold and shivery this also isn’t sudden as I’ve been suffering since November except now it is constant and symptoms have worsened and more symptoms have approached to be basically told go home there nothing wrong with you
Staff was very friendly and reassuring through out the whole process.
They were very caring and compassionate and took time to get to know you as much as they in a short period of time.
Length of time in clinic, with a frail 95 year old lady, attitude of medical staff, when requested how long wait would be.
Daughter attending clinic with elderly immobile mother
The unit was very crowded and slow to see a Doctor.
Staff took very good care of me yesterday when I came in for surgery, all the staff were very polite and very informative as to what to expect before and after surgery.
